Some of my Memories of William
When William came into my life, he brought happiness and made me feel young again.
I can hear his laughter, when he would say come on Doris you can do it, when he was teaching me to play one of his games.
Before William started school, my friend Ada, who was William’s grandma and myself would take William to the town, and we would have lunch. He liked that and was always good.
Every Sunday he would come for tea, and I remember often he would help Sue to get the tea ready. When he was going home, he knew I would give him some chocolate to take.
I thought it such an honour when he told me that I was the oldest member of his family.
When William came back from his holiday in Norfolk, he wanted to get me a present. He bought me a cuddly toy, a dog, which sits in my chair, and is a great comfort to me.
